Turn stage-fright into stage-presence — for kids and teens
Public speaking is not a talent — it's a skill, and every child can learn it. SpeakingMinds runs Pune's most trusted public speaking programme for kids and teens: 12+ years, 11,000+ students, and a method that has produced state-level winners and shy 5-year-olds turned confident LKG stage-performers alike.
Kids don't learn public speaking by watching a teacher speak — they learn by doing it themselves, week after week, in front of a small, supportive batch of 20–22 peers. That's exactly how our classes are built.
What age can my child start public speaking classes?
We accept children from LKG onwards. The youngest batches focus on simple recitation and building the habit of speaking in front of a group; older batches move to structured speeches, debates and impromptu speaking.
Will public speaking classes help my child in school?
Directly. Kids who train with us usually see improvement in classroom participation, elocution and speech competitions, school assemblies and even English marks (fluency and confidence carry over to reading comprehension and creative writing).
How is a public speaking class actually structured?
A typical 60-minute class: 10 min warm-up (voice, articulation), 25 min core teaching (technique of the week — e.g. hooks, pace, gestures), 20 min every-child-speaks practice with feedback, 5 min homework brief. No child sits silent.
Do you prepare for external exams like Trinity College London?
Yes. Public speaking is one of the strongest foundations for Trinity GESE and ISE exams. Students preparing for Trinity get additional module-specific coaching on request.
